- Through various trades and deals, I have acquired a set of original
- copies of GEOS V1.2 and the upgrade V1.3. What I wish to do is make a
- BACKUP copy of the original GEOS disk, but whenever I do, I notice that
- some of the files are missing, and/or have diminished in size.
-
- I understand of course that some commercial programs, (and especially OS)
- were deliberately programmed to allow disk errors to reside permanently
- on the floppy, thereby inhibiting and attempts to copy.
-
- My first question is this: Has anybody reading this been successful at
- copying GEOS (for backup), and if so, what technique (or utility) did you
- use?
-
- Your help is appreciated.
